OUR STORY…

The R.E.A.C.H. Collective, is a non profit arts organization dedicated to empowering black and brown movement artists by offering platforms for creation, instruction, development, and showcasing. We elevate their voices, recognizing that identity enriches experiences while principles define artists. Committed to outreach and community, we believe in the transformative power of exposure. We champion the notion that individuality shapes the journey, but convictions encapsulate the artist. Our organization stands as a beacon of opportunity, fostering environments where talent thrives and diversity flourishes, shaping a narrative where every artist's story is heard, celebrated, and empowered.

RESPECTING EVERYONE’S AUTHENTIC CHARACTER AND HEART

Those that don’t got it, can’t show it. Those that got it, can’t hide it.
— Zora Neale Hurston

Our story begins with the annual NYU Masters Concert and our artistic director, Dominique M. Fontenot. In the time that followed, a deeper need emerged—to preserve the bond that united us and continue shaping our shared narrative.

R.E.A.C.H. stands for Recognizing Everyone’s Authentic Character and Heart, a name that reflects the very foundation of TRC. At our core, we embrace storytelling as a means of connection, expression, and truth. We believe that who you are shapes the experience, but what you stand for defines the artist.
